Paul Kaufman
My name is Paul Kaufman, and I’ve been the owner of Sonoran Tree Service since moving to Wickenburg, AZ in July, 2006 (a great time to move to the desert!). I am an ISA Certified Arborist (#WE-9017A). We are a small company, dedicated to doing the job right and treating the customer fairly. I hope to provide valuable educational materials on this blog, as well as interesting photos and information on what we are doing.
I am a Christian and believe that I am called to be Light and Salt to the earth – living my life the way the Bible commands. I would be glad to answer any serious questions about my faith.
Daniel Kaufman
Paul's son, Daniel, has joined the family business and is also a registered OSA Certified Arborist.
Daniel is always looking for other highly motivated young men and women that want to work hard and start a gratifying, high paying skilled career by joining the Sonoran crew. This is a photo from a very tall (87ft) Mexican Fan Palms near the Wickenburg Chamber of Commerce that had not been trimmed for at least 7 years. We were asked to bid the job and wanted a safe way to access the trees since they are too high for our lift. We decided to use a crane to lift me into the top, where I could do my work with a secondary anchor (lanyard/spikes plus the crane load line). When finished, we just had the crane move us to the next tree! No climbing up and down! Everything was very safe, controlled, and simple. We trimmed all 4 trees in under an hour.
